Duolingo is one of the most popular ways to learn a language 💪

as a result, a lot of people jump into their courses with some rather lofty expectations...

the most common one is they expect Duolingo to make them fluent... 🗣️

but is this a reasonable expectation? can Duolingo REALLY make you fluent in a language in 2024? 🤔

i've been using Duolingo every day since 2016 so i've got a pretty good idea of what you can and can't achieve with it...
